We won! WMH beat off competition for three other nominated companies to win the Food Processing Magazine award for “Process and Packaging” at their 2017 Gala Dinner and awards ceremony.
Western Mechanical Handling would like to thank their customers, suppliers, employees and readers of Food Processing that took the time to vote for a unique project to re-purpose a redundant production line with all new tooling, despositors and new control system to ensure optimum operation over a range of four different cheesecake products.
WMH was represented by Tom Tomlinson who accepted the award, David Maddern and David Dearing. Unfortunately Chris Terry representative of Samworth Brothers, Kensey Foods was unable to attend.
“I was delighted to accept the award on behalf of WMH, my colleagues who worked very hard to see the project through to completion.” Said Tom “WMH are always looking to work with customers who wish to carry out interesting and challenging projects such as this” continued Tom ” and by taking a collaborative approach with the customer WMH is able to combine the many skills it has to offer and achieve fantastic results.”
