Final preparations are underway for the WMH 40th Anniversary open days to be held at the end of this week.
The company was started in 1976 when John Tomlinson moved, his young family, to Cornwall to start a business building racks and trolleys for bakeries and garden centres. The business took off and within a few years the company moved to a new building on the current site which gave them more space for initially building conveyors and then to design and build more complex systems.
The company now employs over thirty highly skilled designers and engineers and services blue-chip food and pharmaceutical businesses all over the world.
To commemorate the achievement of reaching the 40-year milestone the company is holding a golf and sailing day for specially invited guests and will be opening up the factory for two mornings on 28th and 29th April to showcase some of the company’s latest developments in robotic and automation technology.
