Following its appointment as the UK and European agent for Betavac sealing machines in early 2025, WMH has seen its spares, service and support division go from strength to strength.
The appointment marked a significant milestone for the company, building on several years of collaboration with former Betavac agent Cremfields. During that time, WMH provided spare parts and service support for Betavac customers across the UK and Europe, developing extensive knowledge of the equipment and establishing strong relationships throughout the dairy industry.
When Cremfields made the decision to wind down its operations, WMH was the natural choice to assume responsibility for the agency on behalf of Betavac’s New Zealand-based parent company. The transition ensured continuity of support for existing customers while creating new opportunities for growth.
Since taking on the agency, demand for WMH’s spares and service expertise has continued to increase. To support this growth, the company has established a dedicated team focused exclusively on handling spare parts enquiries and service requirements. This is complemented by a team of highly experienced service engineers with in-depth knowledge of the Betavac range, enabling rapid response to both planned maintenance programmes and unexpected breakdowns.
The success of the service operation has also opened the door to larger project opportunities. Most notably, WMH has recently secured and completed its first full production line installation incorporating two Betavac sealing machines for one of the UK’s leading industrial cheese dairies.
The project represents an important step forward, demonstrating WMH’s ability to support customers not only with aftermarket service and spare parts, but also with the design, supply and integration of complete processing and packaging solutions.
